A varied menu of interesting topics Saturday, April 24, presented as part of the Vienna Wireless Society Winterfest. There is no fee to attend virtually and there are three tracks which run all day from 9 am to 3:30 pm, each track having a number of sessions.
Bootcamp for newbies and those who would like some refreshers on topics. Topics include choosing a radio, antenna basics, and understanding propagation.
ARRL and Hot Topics, including presentations by Bud Hippisley, Bill Morine, Ria Jairam from the ARRL Board.
ARES and Auxcomm, including a presentation by Paul Gilbert, KE5ZW. ARRL Emergency Management Program Director and John Peterson, head of the Auxcomm program at Homeland Security.
